A New Web Site for ISES - Missouri Chapter
The chapter made a commitment in 2003 to develop a new, improved Web site and keep it updated. Communications chair Elaine Wagner, president-elect Laura Guyton, and treasurer Jill Metherd arranged for a review of current technology to determine options available to the chapter. They then took the lead in shaping strategies and developing content.

The answer was provided by WebSanity, a web consulting and development firm. They analyzed the chapter's needs and opportunities, and determined we would be best served by a site that officers and directors could maintain with ease, and at low cost. WebSanity developed the new site, which is based on a content management system. With the CMS, it's no longer necessary to construct pages one at a time or have them updated by specialists. The CMS pulls information from a database and displays it in a template to create each "page" upon demand. And the site can be updated by ISES in plain English, requiring no special tools or technical skills. The ISES site is hosted on a CMS provided by Bryan Consulting, a firm of senior professionals in technology and communication.
